BSRA is teaming up with Crimson Education to run an event aimed at providing you with a bare bones introduction to overseas US pathways, free!

What You'll Learn

01

SAT and SAT II

We'll provide an introduction to the SAT and SAT Subject Tests, the structure and differneces of both, and why they are a pertinent part of the application. Furthermore, Rizina will provide her unique tips to studying and sitting the test.

02

Navigating the Common Application

If you're applying to a US university, you'll likely have to fill out the Common Application (CA). The CA is your central application portal, where you'll have to submit your scores, write your essays, and much more!

03

Crafting the perfect Common Application Essay

The Common Application Essay (and Supplemental Essays) are a fundamental aspect of your application to the US, and often very formulaic. Crafting the correct essay to reinforce your candidacy and showcase your personality is vital. Learn from someone who gained acceptance into the world's best, how she structured her essays, and how you should craft your own.

04

Developing Leadership Skills

Many students don't know this, but leadership acumen actually plays an important part in your application, and can often be used to outweigh other areas you fall short in. We'll provide some examples of how you can demonstrate leadership, and how it contributes to your application

BSRA associated schools

This is an event for all girls, and their families, who are part of the BSRA Rowing Community:
